The CF Institute at CF
The CF Institute provides comprehensive services to meet the training and development needs of residents in Marion, Citrus and Levy counties. We offer a wide variety of courses that will help you develop new skills and improve your employability and advance your career. Available programs consist of entry-level development courses as well as more advanced programs for workers at medium and high-skilled levels. Most of our programs are offered as open-enrollment type classes but they can also be provided as a customized program for local employers and conducted in one of our facilities or on a company location.
CF Institute services are delivered through Continuing Education as open-enrollment programs, Corporate Training as customized programs and Conference Services. For your convenience, many programs are also available online. A schedule of available non credit programs is printed twice a year describing available courses for all CF campus locations and can be found online at www.CFCCtraining.com. You may register for any course at any campus location or at CFCCtraining.com.
Beginning August 2009 the CF Institute will launch a new scholarship program for non credit classes. The scholarship application, process, deadlines and eligible courses are available on this Web site. Eligible courses for scholarships are determined each year based on programs of study that provide training and skill development for positions needed by employers in the communities served by CF.
