Driving
The CF Institute offers Basic Driver Improvement (BDI), the substance abuse and traffic safety course for first-time applicants of a Florida drivers license, and Behind the Wheel (BTW) driving lessons.
Early Childhood Education
The CF Institute provides the Florida Child Care Professional Credential issued by the Florida Department of Children and Families. Whether you are just beginning a career or needing to renew your state credential, we have the state-approved courses you need. We offer hybrid and customized classes to meet your needs, the FCCPC certificate can be converted to credits toward the A.S. degree in Early Childhood Education. View our course schedule.
Health, Fitness, and Wellness
The health, fitness, and wellness catalog contains information about healthcare careers, and personal interest courses. Some of the courses are: CNA, Phlebotomy, dieting courses, and CPR. View our course schedule.
Insurance
The CF Institute provides courses that meet state licensing requirements. Whether you are just beginning a career or needing to meet state license compliance requirements, we have the state-approved courses you need. Course delivery is flexible, with classes meeting weekdays, weekends and evenings. Plus we also offer many of our courses in an online-format. Courses on insurance qualify for technical business continuing professional education credit for Florida Certified Public Accountants. A discount is available for National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors - Ocala members. NAIFA-Ocala enrollment can only be completed by calling the CF Institute. Leadership and Supervisory Skill Development
We offer a wide variety of Leadership, Management and Supervisor Development programs including Achieve Global, DDI, Franklin Covey and others. Program topics are frequently offered as open enrollment courses or a customized program can be developed to meet the specific needs of your organization. Some of the more popular topics include: Leading Across Generations, 7 Habits to Highly Effective Managers, Effective Performance Reviews, Time Management, Conflict Management and Customer Service.
Lean/Quality Training Programs
Available programs that can be provided in your company or in one of the CF facilities include: Lean Manufacturing, Value Stream Mapping and Process Improvement, Kaizen Improvement, Six Sigma and Lean Concepts for Service and Office Operations.
Manufacturing and Technology Training
Programs include Maintenance Technician Training, Programmable Logic Controls, 10 and 30 hr. OSHA, IPC Certificated Application Specialist, electricity, Basic Hand Tools, Workplace Behavior Skills, Welding, Basic Math for Manufacturing, etc. Training can be customized for specific companies and industries.
Motorcycle
The Basic Rider Course (BRC) is required for anyone seeking a motorcycle endorsement regardless of age or experience. The focus of the course is on the development of skills needed in order to operate a motorcycle safely.
Online Courses
The CF Institute offers a wide variety of online classes. Education to Go offers affordable, short courses that are fast and fun. TicketSchool.com can help you with your driving or license needs. The College is a state-approved provider of Real Estate courses. We offer courses for those entering the profession as well as continuing education courses needed to maintain your license. Security Officer
Job prospects for security officers are continuing to increase due to the growing demand for these workers — a demand that is expected to grow faster than the average for all occupations within the next few years, according to the U.S. Department of Labor and Bureau of Labor Statistics.
By successfully completing the 24-Hour Unarmed Security Officer course and the 16-hour Supplemental Course, you will be eligible to apply for a D Unarmed Security Officer License through the state of Florida.
